Anthropometrix

Colour · Material · Finish

A product speaks before anyone touches it

Anthropometrix is a CMF consulting studio. We help manufacturers of medical devices, esports peripherals, imaging equipment and cabin interiors find a colour, material and finish signature that survives tooling, certification and ten years of use.

Four industries, one discipline

Medical devices

Housings that survive daily disinfection while reading as calm, clinical and precise. Grain depth tuned so wipe-down never leaves a shine.

Esports peripherals

Coatings that resist oil transfer over thousands of hours, with side textures that stay grippy when hands run hot.

Professional imaging

Vulcanised grips against anodised magnesium: the haptic memory a photographer trusts in the dark, at -10 °C.

Aviation interiors

Cabin palettes engineered for 3000-hour lightfastness, flame ratings and the ambient glow that makes 30,000 feet feel like ground level.

The method

Five stages between intent and production

Scroll sideways through the sequence.

  1. 01

    Sensory audit

We map the tactile and visual language your product already speaks — and where it contradicts itself.

  2. 02

    Palette architecture

Core, accent and service colours defined with measured ΔE tolerances across every substrate.

  3. 03

    Texture development

Etch depths, MT grades and laser textures specified against tool steel, not against a rendering.

  4. 04

    Coating qualification

Abrasion, chemical, UV and sweat testing run before the first tool is cut.

  5. 05

    Production hand-off

Master samples, spec sheets and supplier walk-throughs so line output matches the approved standard.

Colour standards

Measured masters, ΔE ≤ 0.8 across ABS, PC blends and coated aluminium.

Finish libraries

Etch, bead-blast, PVD and soft-touch references catalogued per programme.

Ergonomic fit

Grip geometry and texture validated against real hand-size distributions.

Durability testing

Taber, Crockmeter, IPA wipe and artificial-weathering protocols.
